Year One

Goal To improve my understanding and competency in the area of school finance.	TExES Domain III Competency # 8	Objective (A complete understanding of Texas school district financing.	Course Work/Book/ A Guide to Texas School Finance. Published by TASB. Workshops (Finance workshops at service centers)	Mentor Professional Support The district’s financial office and the superintendent.	Date of Completion 08-2014	Evaluations When I can assist at the central office level in designing the district budget with complete confindence.
Goal To improve my knowledge and ability to implement an effective curriculum that enhances learning for all students.	TExES Domain II Competency #05	Objective My ability to truly lead an instructional program that is effective for all students.	Course Work/Book/ Workshops “Working on the Work” workshops.	Mentor Professional Support Curriculum Director and Superintendents, as well as Master Educators. Year Two

Goal To improve the ability to bring the school, community and parents together into one cohesive unit.	TExES Domain I Competency #02	Objective Developing skills to unite the district, community and parents into one unit that works together for the progress of students. Year Three

Goal To acquire a better understanding of facility design and budgeting.	TExES Domain III Competency # 9	Objective A better understanding of facility design and budgets related to new structures.
